Harbin Engineering University is located in the beautiful Songhua River, Harbin, the northern city of ice. The predecessor of the school was the PLA Academy of military engineering, founded in 1953. In 1970, on the basis of the full construction of the Naval Engineering Department and some of the other departments of the Department, the Harbin marine engineering college was established at the site of the "Harbin army". The school has the characteristic discipline system of "three seas and one core" with distinctive subjects, distinctive supporting disciplines and reasonable professional structure.
