Zhejiang University of Technology
Zhejiang University of Technology is a comprehensive provincial key university of Zhejiang province. It was founded in 1953. Its predecessor can be traced back to the Zhejiang secondary industry school founded in 1910. It has experienced the development stages of Hangzhou chemical school, Zhejiang chemical college, Zhejiang Chemical Institute, Zhejiang Engineering College and Zhejiang University of Technology. At the site, the number of calendar is divided. Zhejiang ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT CADRE COLLEGE, Hangzhou shipbuilding industry school and Zhejiang building material industry school were merged into Zhejiang University of Technology in 1994, 1999 and 2001 respectively. After several generations of hard work and unremitting struggle, the school has now developed into a comprehensive teaching and research university with certain influence in China, and the comprehensive strength is the top 100 of the national colleges and universities. In June 8, 2009, the people's Government of Zhejiang province and the Ministry of education signed a co construction agreement. Zhejiang University of Technology entered the provincial Ministry to build a university. In May 2013, the green Pharmaceutical Co innovation center of the Yangtze River Delta, led by the school, was selected as the national 2011 plan, and became one of the first 14 2011 co innovation centers in the country. In April 2015, Zhejiang University of Technology was selected as the first batch of provincial key construction universities in Zhejiang province.
The school is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, a famous historical and cultural city and a world-famous scenic spot. The school has three campuses, Zhaohui, Ping Feng and Zhijiang, covering an area of 3009.92 mu, and the campus environment is elegant. There are 70 undergraduate majors in the school, which covers the 11 gates of philosophy, economics, law, pedagogy, literature, science, engineering, agronomy, medicine, management, art and so on, with 1 departments of 27 colleges.
